Dieser ägyptische Kopf aus Terrakotta stammt aus dem 3. Jahrhundert v. Chr. und ist auf einem modernen Präsentationsstand montiert. Die Gesamthöhe des Objekts beträgt 15,3 cm. Dargestellt ist ein männlicher Kopf und einer königlichen Krone – einem ikonografischen Attribut, das auf die Darstellung eines Königs oder vergöttlichten Herrschers hindeuten könnte.

Herkunft: Aus südeuropäischem Sammlungsnachlass, erworben aus der Privatsammlung von G. und R.-M. Chevallier. Mit alter Inventarnummer 18670. Erworben in den 1970er Jahren und früher auf dem französischen Kunstmarkt.
